So, it's already been a semester. Times flies huh? Oh the good times we've all had. But it's safe to say I think it's been a learning experience for all. So imagine me sitting in front of a fireplace like this guy when yous read this:

and some nice levels for the finishing touches... Enjoy!

Helicopters and spotlights for that godzilla feel

Some fire...

Broken Car...

Some sky...

Some reflection and hand grabbing the building.

Adding in the Statue of Liberty, some shadows and some broken buildings..

Ok. Started the Digital Alchemy project. My concept is the Statue of Liberty coming to life and running a muck on new york city. This is mainly focused on times square. Here is the photo I am going to screw with:

Finishing touches. Enjoy!

Some background...

And some sweet as photoshop 3d wrap...

With all the dietary and all that other info.

Here is the general design of my candy box. Haven't added all the little details yet.

Here are a couple of 3d thing s we did in ps and illustrator

Just had digital class here's a ultra weird photomanip

CANDY BOX TIME! I'm thinking of doing some oldish american chocolate or candy bars. PAYDAY

Possibly the finished product

FLAMINGO

Here is the addition of Catherine Hepburn and Martin Luther King Jr's. clothing. Going to work on the background now...

Progress so far. Contains photos of Marilyn, Kennedy, Einstein & Charlie Chaplin....

And a background. I'll most likely collage a few more photos into it.

Adding some text...

I've started adding a few more faces. I've got Marilyn Monroe & John Kennedy because of their importance in the mid 20th century

I'm going to start with the base as the mona lisa, considering it is one of the most iconic portraits of all time.

Going with the motto I'm thinking of merging a heap of famous images into a portrait I'd like to collage in this sort of fashion.

The final poster...Enjoy

black reversed colour reflections...

and some background...

Here are all the designed chess pieces...

This is my design for my chess pieces, inspired by Frank Gehry's buildings. This is just the queen and I will change the other pieces to suit their position. I.e Scale, proportions, etc.

I'm also thinking of doing something along the style of Frank Gehry. I think that would work really well with a chess piece.

Starting research for my chess pieces, I was thinking of really focusing on the differences between each side of the chess board. I.e black and white; possibly trying something like inverting to upside down on the opposite side or even a change in texture. This is a good example:

Here is the finished Mandala. Enjoy

Here is my Mandala. Just about finished. I'll update when it's done. Still going with the theme of automotive/mechanical.

For the mandala I've been looking at working with cars. Especially this car which I love.

Just thought I'd add this in before I get to anything else. This is the guitar and circular pattern we did in the first class. Enjoy..

Here is also some stuff from a conceptual photographer I love, Dave Nitsche.

Some more of his stuff...
